I purchased this Elan 2 years ago from a gent who had slowly ( over 20 years) had been rebuilding it. Since then I've not be able to touch it having other projects on the go so it is for sale as I purchased it. There are lots of new parts too numerous to list but the main items are. New Lotus body shell prepared and painted by Banks Europa. All lights, hinges, door locks or fitted and body drilling prior to painting. Spyder chassis, wishbones, drive shafts and RSC suspension. New discs & rebuilt calipers, brake hoses and cylinders. Re furbished engine, new clutch, refurbished steering rack, rebuilt gearbox and diff. New Twin Dellorto DHLA 45 carbs Complete set new lights and refurbished gauges. Set new Minilite wheels, Refurbished seats with new foam and recovered in original pattern vinyl along with door cards and centre console. Original Colin Chapman steering wheel. There are some parts that still need sourcing mainly a dashboard, Hood and frame, wiring loom and exhaust plus some smaller parts. I can help with delivery if needed. Still available at ListedBuy!
